What Are You Being Called Towards?

Last week, I invited you to take a closer look at your fears. Instead of eyeing them from a distance or hiding them under the bed, what happens when we take a closer look?

In these weekly notes (and in the work I do), I focus a lot on spirituality, mindset and self-exploration. I write about how to own the story of your past and consciously direct the story of your future.

Today I want to shift gears and step into action mode. Because as crucial as the mindset piece is, if we don't show up differently and if we don't do different things, things won't change around us.

When we hear a story about someone who has left the corporate world to start a business, or taken their small business to the next level or completely shifted direction in their career, we only have visibility to the moment when the change happened.

The truth is, it is likely their journey started months or even years before that moment.

While I was in my last corporate job I started (without an agenda) planting the seeds for what I wanted to do next.

I started following my desire to create. I created workshops and talks. I began sharing my ideas via my newsletter and social media. I joined programs and courses that helped me learn more about what I wanted to do and that provided invaluable support, accountability and community.

I may have left my job two years ago, but without realising it, I had planted the seeds that led to that possibility years before.

I loved my retail corporate career and my product-focused businesses, but something inside strongly called me towards something new.

What are you being called towards? Are you tuning in and responding in kind through your actions?

You can start today, even in small ways.

Start planting the seeds for what you want now, without delay.

My latest adventure has brought me to speak at events like The Collective Summit alongside other incredible women that I admire. I never would have predicted this while in my corporate job.

It is never too late to shift gears and head towards your next adventure.

And it is never too early to start. Like, how about today? 😄

With love,

Kena ❤️
