One Decision Can Change Everything
All day long we make decisions. Some are small, like what to eat for breakfast.
Some are medium-impact, like which car to buy or whether to speak up in a meeting.
Others are life-changing. Like whether to leave a job, disrupt a marriage, or move to a new city.
How do you approach these big, life-impacting decisions?
This week in my group program for women, Be All You Are, we discussed the art of decision-making.
We talked about how often, when we feel confused or unsettled, it is because we are putting off making a decision. Staying in a state of indecision for too long can eventually cause feelings of overwhelm, helplessness, and even lowered self-esteem and self-confidence.
Simply making a decision could change everything.
Easier said than done right?
So this week in our session I shared 6 questions to ask yourself when you're making a big decision.
I wanted to share those questions with you First name:
Am I making this decision from a place of hope or fear?
Am I making this decision from a place of love or anger?
Am I making this decision from a place of trust or doubt?
Does this decision bring me closer to or farther away from my goals?
Is this decision for the highest good for all?
Am I making this decision from the place of my future or my past?
Whether you have a big decision you're sitting on right now or are just deciding whether to start second-hand clothes shopping (anyone else curious to try their hand at this?), these 6 questions will help guide you towards a decision you can feel good about.
The “right” decision doesn't exist, but we can intend to make a decision right, and these 6 questions will support you in getting there.
Are you holding off on making a big decision right now? Try these questions and let me know what comes up for you.
With love,
